How to Calculate Your TrailGenic™ Biomarker Index

The TrailGenic™ Biomarker Index converts your physiological data into a standardized performance score. This allows you to benchmark your adaptation against population norms and track improvement over time.

Step 1 — Collect Your Data

  • Heart Rate Drift (%)
  • Resting Heart Rate (bpm)
  • HRV (ms)
  • Respiratory Rate (breaths/min)
  • Average Heart Rate during effort
  • Ketone Levels (ppm or mmol/L)
  • Recovery Pattern (Day-2 reset vs prolonged fatigue)

Step 2 — Compare Against Benchmarks

Biomarker Elite Above Avg Baseline
HR Drift <0% 0–3% 3–8%
Resting HR <55 55–65 65–80
HRV >45 30–45 20–30
Ketones >8 3–8 <1

Step 3 — Assign Your Score

For each biomarker:

  • Elite = 3 points
  • Above Average = 2 points
  • Baseline = 1 point
  • Below Baseline = 0 points

Step 4 — Calculate Total

Add all biomarker scores together:

  • 16–21: Elite System
  • 10–15: Adapted System
  • 5–9: Developing
  • 0–4: Baseline

TrailGenic™ Note

The goal is not perfection across all metrics, but consistency across time. True adaptation is reflected in repeatable performance, not isolated peaks.
