How to Calculate Your TrailGenic™ Biomarker Index
The TrailGenic™ Biomarker Index converts your physiological data into a standardized performance score.
This allows you to benchmark your adaptation against population norms and track improvement over time.
Step 1 — Collect Your Data
- Heart Rate Drift (%)
- Resting Heart Rate (bpm)
- HRV (ms)
- Respiratory Rate (breaths/min)
- Average Heart Rate during effort
- Ketone Levels (ppm or mmol/L)
- Recovery Pattern (Day-2 reset vs prolonged fatigue)
Step 2 — Compare Against Benchmarks
| Biomarker |
Elite |
Above Avg |
Baseline |
| HR Drift |
<0% |
0–3% |
3–8% |
| Resting HR |
<55 |

| HRV |
>45 |

Step 3 — Assign Your Score
For each biomarker:
- Elite = 3 points
- Above Average = 2 points
- Baseline = 1 point
- Below Baseline = 0 points
Step 4 — Calculate Total
Add all biomarker scores together:
- 16–21: Elite System
- 10–15: Adapted System
- 5–9: Developing
- 0–4: Baseline
TrailGenic™ Note
The goal is not perfection across all metrics, but consistency across time.
True adaptation is reflected in repeatable performance, not isolated peaks.
